Why test PSA ♂?
Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA)
Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) is an enzyme produced by the prostate gland. While its primary function is to liquefy semen, PSA levels are also used as a marker for prostate health. Elevated PSA levels can indicate conditions such as prostate inflammation, enlargement (benign prostatic hyperplasia), or even prostate cancer.
