Before you begin

A quiet room and direct contact with bare skin are important for a usable recording.

Step by step

Turn on the N9+ device, open the app, and sign in.

Choose the patient from the Member Dashboard and tap Take Exam.

Select Heart from the exam list.

Use the app’s noise indicator to confirm the environment is quiet enough before proceeding.

Review the placement tutorial, then start the exam and activate the N9+ stethoscope sensor.

Place the sensor at the highlighted location and hold it still through the recording countdown.

Watch the noise meter. If the environment is too loud, reduce noise and repeat that point.

After each point, listen with headphones if desired, then save and continue or retake the point.

Complete all indicated heart positions and save the exam.

Verify the completed heart exam in the exam list.
